Symptoms
When converting a PDF from Microsoft Word, the resulting PDF has an extra page attached which contains a summary of the docuement's properties.
Cause
This is caused by MS Word configured to print the document's properties in addition to the document itself.
Resolution
For Office 2007:
1. Click on the MS Office icon (top left)
2. Select Word Options
3. Click on Display
4. Unchecked 'Print document properties'
For Office XP/2000/2003:
1. Go to Tools > Options
2. Click on Print tab
3. Unchecked 'Document Properties'
