Nitro PDF Software, the company that revolutionized PDF software with its launch of the first alternative to Adobe® Acrobat®, today announced the appointment of Stephane Zadri as Senior Vice President, EMEA. In this newly-created position, Mr. Zadri will draw on more than 25 years of experience in building EMEA businesses for U.S. software companies, including Nuance, Seagate, Novell, Sun, and Goldmine, and be responsible for managing Nitro’s entire EMEA sales and marketing operations. Reporting directly to Nitro CEO, Sam Chandler, Mr. Zadri will be located in the company’s new European headquarters in Paris, France.

Mr. Zadri joins Nitro from his role as Vice President, EMEA at Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: NUAN) where he headed the productivity applications division with regional annual sales in excess of $70 million. Prior to his position at Nuance, Mr. Zadri held senior executive roles in sales and operations at a variety of successful software companies including Seagate, Novell, and Sun. Earlier in his career, Mr. Zadri enjoyed much success as a software entrepreneur with a company he founded and ran for more than 10 years.
